Virgil Bowlin balances the care of his music, children, and mother. Ultimately navigating being a caregiver across different generations.

Senior Visual Journalism & Photography major Madeline Powell documents the life of Virgil Bowlin, a musician and music instructor who finds himself raising his kids while at the same time caring for his mother.  Her multimedia project examines \”The Sandwich Generation,\” a growing group of adults who juggle responsibilities while trying to live their own lives.
