PLACES: Landscapes by David Coyle
September 10 @ 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm CDT

The School of Media & Communication is excited to invite you to the opening of Places, our latest gallery exhibition featuring the work of Kentucky photographer David Coyle.
Coyle’s collection brings together landscapes from three distinct places: the Red River Gorge, Kentucky’s horse farms, and the San Juan Mountains of Colorado. While these landscapes are separated by geography and character, his photographs reveal a shared language of light, scale, texture and time. Together, the images ask us to look beyond what a landscape simply looks like and consider how a place becomes familiar, memorable and worth returning to.
Please join us Thursday, September 10 at 6:00 PM for a presentation by David Coyle, followed by a reception and the official opening of the exhibition.
