Documenting ICE in Chicago

WKUVJP Senior Dominic Di Palermo’s internship at the Chicago Tribune this past fall put him on the front line of the federal government’s immigration crackdown in Chicago. What started as protests at the U.S. Customs Enforcement facility grew into a months-long essay looking at a variety of impacts the presence of ICE and Border Patrol agents has had on the community.
